The Christine M. Kleinert Institute is governed by a Board of Directors made up of individuals from the local community and physicians, all of whom donate their time to oversee the Institute.
Tuna Ozyurekoglu, M.D.
Dr. Ozyruekoglu, or Dr. Tuna as his patients call him, serves as President of the Board of Directors.
He is also the Curriculum Director of morning conference series for our fellows and a dedicated teacher.
Joseph E Kutz, M.D.
Emeritus President of the Board of Directors.
Tsu-Min Tsai, M.D.
Dr. Tsai is a fixture in our 6:30 AM morning conferences and a naturally gifted teacher. He is a long time board member and faithfully attends our board meetings. He was the 2012 Hands On Award recipient, and we are very grateful for his gifts of time and dedication to our fellows and to our research mission.
Michelle Palazzo, MD
Dr. Palazzo is currently the CMKI Hand Surgery Fellowship Program Director.
Huey Tien, M.D.
Dr. Tien is the former CMKI Program Director. He continues to be dedicated teacher to our fellows.

Mr. Lawrence is the Finance Director at the Louisville Waterfront Development Corporation and has been very generous with his time and support for the Institute. With his extensive experience in Finance he also serves as a member of the Finance Sub-committee for our Board. Mr. Lawrence is a dedicated member of the Louisville community and is a Trustee of Spaulding University, as well as a board member of the Bluecoats of Louisville, the Waterfront Development Corporation and is a member of the investment committee for the Nazareth and Literary Benevolent Institution. With what little spare time is left, he enjoys cycling and gardening with his wife Beverly, his children and grandson Everett.

Mr. Roby is retired from the University of Louisville where he was Director of Major Gifts for the Speed School of Engineering for 25 years. Prior to that, he worked at First National Bank. His community service has involved several organizations. He is on the Board of the Asia Institute Crane House, has volunteered at the J B Speed Museum on the music committee for 40 years, has volunteered at the Kentucky Opera, and has assisted other non-profits in their fund raising efforts. At the Christine M. Kleinert Institute, he is on the Development Sub-Committee. He enjoys cooking, eating, and opera, but his favorite activity in retirement is travel, especially to France.
