Cardiovascular Innovation Institute
We have an ongoing partnership with the Cardiovascular Innovation Institute, and Dr. Stu Williams, Dr. Jay Hoying and Dr. Nolan Boyd. Located one block from the Institute at 302 E. Muhammad Ali Blvd, the CII houses state of the art laboratories, with expertise in Cardiovascular Therapeutics and Regenerative Medicine. Our current focus is working with Dr. Williams and Dr. Hoying on the use of adipose derived stromal vascular fraction cells to increase vascularity and reduce graft rejection in an experimental model of vascularized composite tissue allografts.
