Dr. Manon-Matos was born in San Juan, PR and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Princeton University in Princeton, NJ in 2000 and from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH in 2004. He completed his internship in General Surgery in 2005 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH followed by residency in General Surgery in 2009 at the Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine in Springfield, MA. He subsequently completed post-graduate fellowship training in Hand and Microsurgery in 2010 at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute and the University of Louisville Hospitals in Louisville, KY.
In December 2010, Dr. Manon-Matos joined Kleinert Kutz as staff and was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery with the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Hand Surgery.
Dr. Manon-Matos is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is currently eligible for the Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand.
He is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Candidate Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
Dr. Manon-Matos is also fluent in Spanish.
