The Fresh Tissue Lab, founded by Dr. Acland 34 years ago, was renamed the Robert Acland Fresh Tissue Lab in honor of his contributions. A beautiful brass plaque was unveiled at a ceremony by Dr. Bill Guido, chair of the Department of Anatomical Sciences at the University of Louisville.
